Anil Ram
Pharmacist / Owner Compounding Pharmacist - B.Sc. (Bio)., B.Sc (Pharm)., R.Ph, RPEBC.
Anil is a 1980 graduate of the University of British Columbia Faculty of Pharmacy and is a PCCA trained compounding Pharmacist. His career in pharmacy started in 1980 as a staff Pharmacist for Vanderhoof Pharmacy. His demonstration of an impeccable work ethic and true passion for the profession of pharmacy are evident in all aspects of his daily practice. His background in retail, nursing home, hospital, and medical dispensary pharmacy has allowed him to establish high standards in pharmaceutical care which were exemplified in both his retail, nursing home and medical dispensary pharmacies. The current Rx Ram Pharmacy Specialists provides a professional ambience that allows for an accessible, trusting, caring relationship between the Pharmacist, patients and healthcare practitioners.

Regulated Pharmacy Technician - licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Jen is a fully trained PCCA certified compounding technician as well as a sterile compounding technician certified through the University of Florida. She has extensive compounding experience and plays a lead role in compounding many of our formulations. As a nurse, Jen has worked in Long-Term Care and Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse and has been a Pharmacy Assistant in both retail and Long-Term Care Pharmacy.

Compounding Pharmacist - B.SC. (Micro-biology), B.SC. (PHARM), R.PH, RPEBC
David graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Micro-biology and Immunology. He was then accepted into the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and graduated in May 2013. David is a PCAA certified compounding Pharmacist including sterile preparation.

David has a special interest in cardiovascular diseases, womenÂ’s health and pain medications. He truly believes that Pharmacists play an integral role in working with patients, Physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize ones drug therapy and health outcomes.
Health Care Manager
Brian Payer is Anishinaabe(Ojibway) and operates Brian Payer and Associates, a consulting company that focuses on business development, market enhancement and strategic economic development primarily with Aboriginal individuals, corporations and organizations. Brian has worked extensively with First Nations and Aboriginal entrepreneurs to assist with the establishment and effective implementation of their businesses.

Brian is a graduate of the UBC commerce program and has had extensive experience both in the private and public sector in addition to owning and operating a mid sized manufacturing business enterprise for 11 years.

Brian has held a number of significant positions relating to Aboriginal Economic Development including: Advisory member of the Western Aboriginal Board overseeing the Canadian Aboriginal Economic Development Strategy; selection committee member in Toronto for the first Aboriginal Achievement Awards in 1994 as well as served at the community level on a number of Aboriginal Boards relating to education, economic development and advanced business learning. He is one of the Aboriginal Advisors for the UBC Sauder School of Business Chinook Program.

Brian recognizes the opportunity for RX Ram Pharmacy to provide their unique Health Care Management Program to both the non Aboriginal and Aboriginal communities to improve quality of life . As such Brian has committed to work with RX Ram to bring awareness of this program to Nanaimo and surrounding communities in addition to First Nations.
